Popular Grammy-winning singer Wizkid has hailed his colleague Asake. He recently lauded his exceptional vocal abilities, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, while “Omo Ope” was the song that caught his attention from the former YBNL signee, “Remember” is his favourite Asake track yet.
Expressing his admiration for the singer’s talent, Wizkid added that Asaka is a blessing to African music.
His words, “Omo Ope made me an Asake fan from the first listen. But my favourite Asake song is ‘Remember’, I think you have to play that one on my wedding day. It is an amazing record.
You [Asake] are amazing, you have one of the most special voices from home [Africa] and in the world. I have told you that like a million times, and I am saying it again on the radio. You are a blessing to African music.”
