AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come out to respond to criticism from LeBron James amid their ongoing politics saga. Zlatan recently revealed that he’ll continue insisting that athletes unite the world, and politics divides it.
According to him, racism and politics are two different things, and it has nothing to do with where you are from or who you are.
He added that no matter the criticism he gets for his opinion, he won’t stop asking athletes to be athletes, and politicians to be politicians.
His words, “Racism and politics are two different things. We athletes unite the world, politics divides the world,”.
“It has nothing to do with where you are from, we do what we do to unite.”
“We don’t do other things because we are not good at it, otherwise I would be in politics.”
“That’s my message. Athletes must be athletes, politicians must be politicians.”
