Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo says the state government will train primary school teachers on the use of the new curriculum to be introduced in September for the new academic session. The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), is investigating alleged diversion of some candidates’ registration fees for the National Examination Council (NECO) by two secondary school principals. Bayelsa government has admitted receiving additional N6.61 billion as part of the state’s share of the first tranche of the N516.38 billion Paris Club refund.
