The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released the Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus on bail. Secondus was released at about 8:30pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, The Nation reports. His passports were however seized and he was required to produce two sureties with a N750 million bond each. “The PDP Deputy National Chairman has been released but under extremely stringent conditions,” Secondus’ lawyer, Emeka Etiaba (SAN), said. “For a man whose alleged offence has not been proven, he does not deserve stringent bail terms,” he added. Rick Ross is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment March 30 for a case involving marijuana and illegal tint charges. According to Bossip, the Maybach Music Group boss was pulled over in his Bentley in June after police thought his tint was too dark. The officer then found less than an ounce of marijuana in the car, so Ross was charged for both crimes. The case has been delayed because Ross was arrested two weeks later on kidnapping and assault charges for pistol whipping a landscaper.
