Qualcomm has introduced its 3D Sonic Sensor Gen 2, the latest version of its fingerprint sensor that can scan your fingerprint even if there are contaminants. For example, it’s meant to work even when your hand is wet. It uses ultrasonic waves to scan ridges, valleys, and pores on your finger for an accurate image. Microsoft today announced new changes that are coming to its enterprise social networking service, Yammer. Some of these updates are already rolling out while the rest are slated for release in the future. Four soldiers have been sentenced to jail terms ranging from one to four years for torturing a civilian to death. The erring soldiers are Sani Ishaya, Bidemi Fabiyi, Abdulrasheed Adamu, and Bala Musa. In the latest blow to social app Parler, Amazon said Saturday it was suspending the company from its web hosting platform effective at 11:59PM PST Sunday.
