The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has informed the general public that it has been informed by the US Food and Drug Administration of the withdrawal of all alcohol- based hand sanitizer that contain ethanol that have tested positive to methanol. NAFDAC also stated that, Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority (RFDA) has also banned the use of ‘99% Methanol Alcohol’ hand sanitizer, packed by KVM Co. Ltd. Federal Government will today sign the agreement for the sale of Afam Power Plant for #105bn. The signing ceremony, which is scheduled to hold at the Office of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbaji, would mean the official transfer of ownership of the power generation company to Transcorp Power Consortium. The Honorable Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Ms Zainab Ahmed, has stated that Nigeria’s total public debt may reach N38.68 trillion by December, 2021 subject to existing loan approvals.
