Cisse, 38, and recently coach of the Senegalese Olympic team replaces Frenchman Alain Giresse, who left the post following the Teranga Lions’ dismal performance at the 2015 Orange Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, where they failed to go past the first round from a group which had Algeria, Ghana and South Africa.
