INEC has announced its suspension of all ongoing electoral process in River State. The electoral body revealed this in a press statement signed by Festus Okoye, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, and shared it on its official twitter handle. Election observer group, Centre for Transparency and Advocacy (CTA) has revealed that they saw amazing improvement in logistics from INEC during the Governorship and State Assembly elections. Independent National Electoral Commission has declared APC Governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu winner of the March 9, Governorship poll in Lagos State. He beat his closest rival, Jimi Agbaje with a very large margin of 533,304 votes. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared PDP’s Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi winner of the Saturday’s Governorship election in Enugu state for a second tenure. Prof. Joseph Ahaneku, Returning Officer in the state, disclosed that Ugwuanyi emerged victorious in the 17 local government areas (LGAs). He attracted 449,935 votes against his closest rival, Sen. Ayogu Eze of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 10,423 votes.
