The Federal Government has commissioned 1,000 kilometres of major gas pipelines, with an additional 1,400km planned for construction before the end of the year. Maikanti Baru, group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), confirmed this in Lagos at the Society of Petroleum Engineers Conference.
