Jose Mourinho has made a personal call in a bid to convince Alvaro Morata to join Manchester United, according to Spanish outlet Cadena Ser. The report claimed that the former Juventus striker has made up his mind to leave the Bernabeu this summer after returning from his stint in Italy. Mourinho is in greater need of a striker now, after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s cruciate knee ligament injury. It remains unclear whether David De Gea will be involved in negotiations after increased speculation that the Spain No. 1 wants a move back to Madrid.

A series of sell-out concerts by British megastar Adele lifted hotel occupancy rates in the struggling Brisbane market by 12 per cent in March and also boosted the performance of Sydney and Melbourne hotels, new figures show.
