Whatever you do, do not address Dewy Oputa as Charly Boy‘s (last) child. The gorgeous model gave the stern warning on Instagram earlier today when @234stars_ posted a hot new photo of her. ‘Please don’t address me as Charlyboy’s last child. I have a name,’ she wrote. That would be a little bit of an instruction to heed seeing as we don’t know her for any other thing other than being the veteran artiste’s daughter; but we’ll try.
DJ Khaled has established himself as one of the top motivators in Hip Hop thanks to his inspirational encouragement about the threatening word ‘THEY’ – shadowy figures who don’t want you to succeed. Muhammadu Buhari cannot renominate Mr. Ibrahim Magu as chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for the third time. The Senate last week failed to confirm Magu as the substantive chairman of the anti-graft agency, making it the second the lawmakers would reject him. Melaye, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT), said there is a provision of the Senate rules which would not allow members consider Magu for the same position again. As contained in a statement signed by Melaye, the lawmaker disclosed this while commenting on the debate in the media about…

A Civil Society group has condemned the Senate over the rejection of Ibrahim Magu as the substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The Senate last Wednesday refused to confirm Magu for the second time in three months. In a statement released on Saturday, March 18, the group’s director, Ishaq Akintola, said corruption is the underlining reason Magu is being rejected. “Senate has shown that it is not fighting corruption. On the contrary, it is fighting for…

In a statement, he released in Abuja on Saturday, march 18, the Kaduna Senator said it is ironic that El-Rufai, who he said cannot stand constructive criticism, has the audacity to criticise the President. In the memo, which went viral last Thursday, El-Rufai was quoted as saying that Buhari is losing the vision and the momentum…

Senate President Bukola Saraki has said that the rejection of Ibrahim Magu as the substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was not based a report by the Department of State Service (DSS). The DSS report, which was submitted to the Senate before Magu first appeared before the red chamber for screening, questioned his (Magu) integrity and declared him unfit for the job. Fourth-placed Liverpool are currently one point adrift of Pep Guardiola’s side, while City remain level with Tottenham Hotspur, who currently lie 13 points behind leaders Chelsea. Coutinho feels Sunday’s match at the Etihad Stadium will be hugely important in the battle for the runners-up spot, and said Liverpool’s opponents will be looking to respond to their Champions League elimination earlier in the week. “It’s going to be a very important game,” he told the club’s official website. “City are one of the big clubs in England, no doubt about that, and right now we are in a race with them…
In December, Mourinho demanded “the same rules for everyone” after serving his second touchline ban of the season, covering a total of four games. Mourinho and Wenger have had a long-running verbal feud throughout their time in England, with Mourinho also saying earlier this season that he was “not surprised” that the FA had opted against charging Wenger for his suggestion that referees were “protected like lions in the zoo.” “I’m still a very happy man, capable of being emotional with a special victory. In that aspect I continue to be the same but I also understand with experience that…
“It was a typical Premier League game now, that you see a lot, where one team has a lot of the ball and the other defends deep well, waits for counterattacks and set pieces,” Wenger explained. “West Brom did that very well. We had 77 percent of possession but didn’t create enough chances.” This felt hugely predictable. West Brom average the lowest share of possession in the league, and their defensive, reactive style was even more obvious than usual here. Arsenal had 77 percent of possession, but West Brom scored 75 percent of the goals. Afterwards, it was notable that…
