The Osun State government has explained how its share of the Paris Club refund, received a month ago from the federal coffers, was dispensed. The refunds were part of over-deductions from State allocations to offset loans from the Paris-London club. The Gombe State Government says it recorded 40 fresh cases of leprosy in 2016. Dr Mustapha Musa, the Programme Manager, Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Unit of the state, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe on Tuesday that the cases were detected in Nafada, Funakaye, Yamaltu-Deba and Kwami Local Government Areas. The Ekiti State Government says it has concluded arrangements to establish an additional five hectares of Cocoa Clonal Gardens across the state. The State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Kehinde Odebunmi, said this at a news conference in Ado-Ekiti.
