The Minister of state for petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu has revealed that the Federal Government saved $15.4b as a result of removing fuel subsidy. Osinbajo also revealed that the government had to spend so much on importing kerosene because a lot of families in Nigeria depend on the product. Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State on Tuesday presented the 2017 budget of N812.99 billion to the state House of Assembly. The budget, tagged: “Golden Jubilee Budget” is N150.4 billion higher than the 2016 budget of N662.58 billion.
