The Federal High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti has ordered Zenith Bank to unfreeze the accounts of Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose. The order was given on Tuesday, December 13, by presiding judge, Justice Taiwo Taiwo. According to Justice Taiwo, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) did not follow proper procedure in ordering the bank to freeze the accounts. EFCC had directed the bank to freeze Fayose’s account in connection with a money laundering investigation.
