The Caretaker, Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed a former National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, as the chairman of its South-South reconciliation committee. The decision was announced in a communique signed by Lucky Imasuen, the Secretary of the committee and made public on Wednesday, following a meeting of party leaders from the geo-political zone in Abuja on Tuesday. A former People’s Democratic Party, PDP, governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Kodilichukwu Okelekwe, has dumped his party for the All Progressives Congress, APC. The committee comprises 57 members who are to serve in an interim capacity for the next six months. The new committee consists of 36 at the state level and 21 as chairmen of the party at the 21 local government areas of the state.
