Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened Monday to launch a new military operation in Syria to secure Turkey’s southern border. Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has dissolved the State Executive Council. The dissolution takes effect from today, Tuesday, May 24, 2022. According to a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, the Chief of Staff to the Governor and Senior Special Assistants have also been relieved of their offices.
