A student of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) has been shot dead during a clash by rival cult groups in the school. It was learnt that the crisis started as a result of battle by rival cult groups in the university determined to impose their members as leaders of the Students Union Government (SUG). The Anambra State Police Command on Saturday paraded 19 suspected kidnappers. The command also displayed arms and three bags of cannabis recovered from the hoodlums. Gov. Umaru Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has called on the Federal Government to review the military operation in the state to guide against civilian casualties. The new smart national identity card is in compliance with the security recommendations and standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and could be used as travel document.
