No fewer than six persons, between ages 20 and 22 years, died after allegedly consuming a local beverage, Zakami, at a wedding reception at Unguwa Uku, Kano State, a witness has said. The police also confirmed the incident on Monday but could not confirm the casualty. A witness, who was at the wedding, said the incident happened at about 10.30 p.m. on Sunday.
