Unknown gunmen, Saturday, abducted the Director of Local Government (DLG) for Adavi Council, Kogi State, Alhaji Abdullazeez Ohere, from his home at Agassa in Okene local government area. The kidnappers numbering about 10 scaled the fortified fence of the captive at 11pm, reports Guardian. Seven people were killed on Sunday after a suicide bomber on Sunday attacked a bus terminal in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, AFP reports, citing police authorities. “There has been an attack on the Damaturu Central Motor Park by a female suicide bomber,” Commissioner of Police, Marcos Danladi told AFP. “So far, seven people have been confirmed dead and 32 others injured,” he added.
