Fifty days after the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) entered Nigeria, the Federal government Monday confirmed a new case of the disease in the country. The new case brings to 19, the number of confirmed cases in the country. The Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Garbai, has appealed to the federal government to allow the airlift of intending pilgrims to this year’s Hajj from Borno and Yobe States through the Maiduguri International Airport. The CBN had announced a charge of N65 to be paid by bank customers when they use the ATMs of banks other than their own to make withdrawals.
