A team of anti-robbery policemen attached to Area A Police Command, Lion Building Friday arrested six young men around 8: 30 am, while they were looting properties from Savannah bank, at Broad Street, in Lagos Island. The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Lagos State Command on Friday said that it arrested more than 200 suspected irregular immigrants in a week. The Comptroller of Immigration in charge of the command, Mr Julius Ogbu, gave the figure while briefing newsmen in Lagos. He described as unfounded, the rumour that the arrest focused on northern Nigerians resident in the state. I have been keeping you posted about the formalities being put in place for the burial of late singer Kefee‘s, as her body will soon arrive in the quiet city of Benin, Edo State. The Oba Akenzua Cultural centre, is the venue were a candle light session was held in her honor yesterday. One of the organisers, who chose to be referred to as Blue Bone, told reporters that Kefee’s body would arrived before the event would begin.
