Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has sent the sum of N20million as Eid-el-Kabir Sallah gift to the 5,710 Kaduna State Pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. Three persons were reported dead while three others were hospitalized, yesterday, in Bayeku area of Ikorodu in a boat mishap involving 21 passengers. According to reports, the deceased are three females between the ages of 24 and 26. Three of the survivors were reportedly hospitalized at two different private hospitals within the area. The incident occurred barely five minutes after the boat left the Oke-Ira jetty for Bayeku after its propeller got stuck under the water. Security operatives have handed over a driver attached to the convoy of Governor Adams Oshiomhole to the police for allegedly attempting to break into the Account section of the Edo Government House.
