Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez has come out to say that his squad will gather to watch Inter Milan take on Viktoria Plzen in the Camp Nou dressing room. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Barcelona players will watch the game with the small hope of seeing their flagging Champions League campaign revived if the Italian team fails to clinch all 3 points.
Xavi added that Barca are in an uncomfortable situation where the team no longer depends on itself to qualify from the group.
His words, “More than believing in miracles, we maintain a small hope that something can happen,”
“Look, it’s complicated. We are in an uncomfortable situation where we no longer depend on ourselves, but you should never lose hope.”
“We will meet at Camp Nou two hours before the Bayern game and we will be following the Inter match. We will all watch it together in the dressing room before we play.”
