Bayern Munich are German champions once again after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt in the last game of the season.
Niko Kovac’s boys held a two-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga going to matchday 34 and a better goal difference to Borussia Dortmund, which meant a draw would’ve sealed the title even if Borussia Dortmund defeated Borussia Monchengladbach.
But in just four minutes, Kingsley Coman and Bayern let the world know that they were not willing to let it slip.
After Frankfurt equalized, David Alaba scored to restore the advantage and Bayern never looked back.
Renato Sanches then made it 3-1 five minutes after Alaba’s finish to all but seal the league title.
Team legends Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben then netted the fifth and sixth goal to make it seven Bundesliga titles in a row for Bayern Munich.
