Manchester City midfielder, Phil Foden has come out to admit that his goal vs Liverpool was perfect. He recently revealed that the Citizens were clearly rewarded for showing courage from the 1st minute at Anfield.

According to him, beating Liverpool gives the Blues every chance to go for the title this season, but the job is far from done.
He added that beating the champions has a way of lifting the confidence levels, however, City must remain focused.
His words, “I struck [my goal] perfect and I’m just happy to see it go in and help the team,”
“It gives us every chance to go on and win [the title], but the job isn’t done and we’ve got a long way to go. When you beat the champions, everyone’s confidence goes sky high, so it can only help us.”
Pep added, “[He] keeps the ball really well, he arrives so aggressive but he is also still so young,”
“When he plays wide it is more easy for him, he will learn. The action for the second goal and the fourth goal, we know what a huge talent he is but he is still young and hopefully he can understand he can still improve.”
