On Friday, Senator Orji Kalu mourned the death of Mr. Zachary Maduka, a leader in Abia State’s Labour Party (LP).
Abia North’s senatorial representative Kalu has condemned the brutal murder of Maduka as inexcusable and said it reflects poorly on his constituents.
In the Isikwuato Local Government Area of Abia on Thursday, Maduka, also known as Power Zac, was brutally murdered.
The dead served as the LP’s Uturu Campaign Director.
He was also the campaign manager for Mr. Amobi Ogah, who currently represents the federal district of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi.
Maduka also held the position of chairman of the Uturu Union’s home chapter.
Kalu issued a statement on Friday demanding the capture of the criminals responsible for the attack.
He expressed his condolences to the victim’s family and promised to work with Alex Otti, the governor of the state, and law enforcement to make the senatorial district a safer place for everyone.
