Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney has come out to send a message to frustrated Birmingham City fans. He recently had his say after being mocked by some supporters after two losses in his first two matches.
According to him, he understands that fans have the right to feel frustrated with the results, but it is time for them to be patient with the team as they try to turn things around.

Rooney added that for the club to move forward this season, everyone must begin to think long-term.
His words, “For us to move forward, we need to obviously think bigger and think for the longer term of the club, and in the short term, obviously that might be a frustration for fans. All you want is results, but we know where we’re trying to go and how we’re trying to get there.”
“Be patient. I get it, I understand, you’ve parted ways with a very popular manager who had done a good job in stabilising the club. But we need to realise where we’re trying to go, not where we are now.
WOW.
