Tottenham and Wales legend, Gareth Bale has come out to aim a jibe at Arsenal over Brennan Johnson’s big-money move to Tottenham from Nottingham Forest. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is happy Brennan Johnson chose Tottenham when he decided to leave Nottingham Forest, at least it is better than joining Arsenal.
Bale added that the more game time he gets at his new club, the more improved his game would be on the pitch.
His words, “For sure. Better than Arsenal. He’s doing well. I think the more that he plays in the top flight now, the better that he’ll get.”
“Like you said, the skies are the limit. As long as he’s playing football, improving and doing well, it’s good for Tottenham and good for Wales.”
