An Iranian government spokesperson has come out to question Britney Spears’ mental health after the singer voiced her support for women’s rights protests there. The spokesperson recently had his say via his social media page, and the world has been reacting.
According to him, people should remember that the American singer was placed under her father’s conservatorship in 2008 due to her mental health problems before reading meaning into her tweets.
It read, “American singer Britney Spears was placed under her father’s conservatorship in 2008 due to her mental health problems.”
“That gave Britney’s father control over her finances and even her personal life aspects such as pregnancy, remarriage, and visits to her teenage sons.”
