President Bola Tinubu’s Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has declared that the South-South geopolitical zone is now fully under the control of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Bwala made the remark while reacting to the defection of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the APC.
InfoStride News recalls that Fubara, while announcing his defection, said the PDP failed to protect him during the political crisis that threatened his position and political survival.

The governor explained that he sought support from the federal government after facing challenges in Rivers State, adding that the APC provided the backing and protection required to navigate the political turbulence.
Reacting via a post on his verified X handle, Bwala welcomed the Rivers governor into the ruling party.
“With joy in my heart, I join all the progressives home and abroad in welcoming my dear friend and brother, His Excellency Sim Fubara, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, to the All Progressives Congress (APC),” he wrote.
“With this move, we can boldly say the entire South-South is now APC,” Bwala added.
