Ex-Barcelona striker, Samuel Eto’o has come out to say that his ambition isn’t dimmed by Cameroon’s latest setback. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the fact that the Indomitable Lions were defeated 2-0 by Uzbekistan in Friday’s international friendly will not stop him from believing his country can reach the World Cup final in Qatar.
Eto’o added that he and the team will never lose sight of the desired objective when the tournament kicks off.
His words, “We really wanted to see the reaction of the team, and for the first time—I hoped for Cameroon to lose. Our objective is still the same; to depart Qatar on the evening of December 18, the date of the World Cup final. We won’t lose sight of our objective.”
