Ephrata, PA, October 05, 2014 –(PR.com)– Award-winning producer and production advisor Kevin Carvell has joined Halo Cinematic’s upcoming epic sci-fi film “Zero: Dawn of the Darklighters” as a producer.
This feature-length film from writer, director, and executive producer William Wall is a kind of sequel to his “Zero” short film, which took home four awards, including Best Short Film, at the 2014 San Diego Film Awards. It was also named Official Selection at SciFi London Film Festival, Phoenix Comic Con, and San Diego Comic Con International, where Zero/celebrity photobombing became a huge sensation. The likes of Colin Ferguson, Seth Green, Jack Black, Guillermo del Toro, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and more all took a moment to pose with a likeness of the film’s android star.
“Zero: Dawn of the Darklighters,” while still casting, currently features Caroline Amiguet (“Just Desserts”), Sam Diego (“Flicks”), Mike Burnell (“Mortician of Doom”), Merrick McCartha (“Scandal”), and Randy Davison (“The Teleporter”). The film is scheduled for a 2016 release.
Next up, Carvell serves as an executive producer, alongside Kynan Griffin, Jason Faller, and director John Lyde, on the highly-anticipated family holiday fantasy film “The Christmas Dragon.” “The Christmas Dragon” will appear in select theaters and debut on home video this holiday season.
