Alhaji Talba Diginsa, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Birniwa Local Government Area of Jigawa State, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) along with his supporters.

He emphasized the exemplary leadership and commitment demonstrated by the current Jigawa State Governor, Mallam Umar Namadi, during his six months in office as a key factor influencing their decision.

Upon receiving the decamped members at Kwanar Dole, the state APC chairman, Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel, expressed the party’s readiness to accept new members for the development of the party.
