Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has said that he wants players with emotional stability in the summer. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, character is absolutely needed when it comes to signing players because calm footballers will have the emotional stability to thrive under pressure.

Rosenior confirmed that Enzo Fernandez will retain the vice-captaincy despite going public with his apparent desire to leave.
His words, “I think in recruitment, for me, the first thing I look at is character, is emotional stability, is calm.
That’s something we’ve spoken about. That’s not a reflection on this group now. It’s how we improve the group moving forward.
I won’t be stripping him of anything because he doesn’t deserve that.
We had a really calm conversation. I explained the decision and why. I know it doesn’t look like it right now, but Enzo and I have an unbelievable relationship
He understood the club’s decision and my decision in that. I know he will respond really well and help us in the upcoming weeks
I need to win. We haven’t won in the last four games. Faith in any project comes from results.
As soon as you don’t win games of football at any club, regardless of the project, people lose faith. So we have to restore that.”
WOW.
Chelsea Football Club is an English professional football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play their home games at Stamford Bridge.
The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of English football. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1955. The club won the FA Cup for the first time in 1970, their first European honour, the Cup Winners’ Cup, in 1971, and became the third English club to win the Club World Cup in 2022.
On 7 May 2022, Chelsea confirmed that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. The group was later known as BlueCo.
The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
