
The race to crown new Orange CAF Champions League winner enters into the mini league phase of the competition after the draw conducted today at CAF HQ in Cairo and it threw an interesting twist. DR Congo ‘s two representatives, TP Mazembe and AS Vita were draw in the same group as were Esperance and C.S Sfaxien of Tunisia who complete an All-North African group (B) along with Algeria’s E.S Setif and Ahly Benghazi from Libya.
Five time competition winners, Zamalek from Egypt were drawn in group A joining the DR Congo pair and Sudanese giants, Al Hilal.
