Moses Sule, the Speaker of the Plateau State Assembly, was removed from office by the state election petitions tribunal.
The legislator was removed from office because he was elected on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s platform in the last election, according to the electoral petition tribunal sitting in Jos.
Together with Danjuma Azi, the assemblyman who represented the Jos North West seat, he was dismissed.

The APC’s former majority leader in the House, Naanlong Daniel, and Na’ah were both pronounced winners by the tribunal on March 18.
Because the PDP lacked the necessary party organization, the petitioner said, the Sule and Azi should not have been sponsored.
The tribunal, presided over by Muhammad Tukur, has issued its verdict, finding that the PDP is unable to sponsor the respondents in the upcoming election.
Since the party lacked any sort of foundation, in his view, “nothing can stand on nothing.”
