Former Chelsea forward Shaun Wright-Philips has come out to say that Cole Palmer and Liam Delap will do great things together. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Delap is definitely going to improve the Chelsea team next season, and his combination with Palmer will lead to a lot of goals scored by the ex-Ipswich striker.
Shaun added that Delap will not just take the chances created for him, he’ll create goalscoring opportunities for himself as well.
“I think Liam’s going to be putting away more chances than Nicolas Jackson. Liam’s going to improve the team overall. He can hold the ball up, he’s like a wall up front, able to bring others into play.
Not only does he take chances, but he creates them for himself, and he can do everything Jackson can do, with runs in behind. Cole’s going to love that, he knows that when he sends the ball into the box, Liam will be there.”
