Juventus midfielder, Leandro Paredes has come out to reveal the key role that Angel Di Maria played in convincing him to join the club from PSG. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, since Di Maria himself left the French league for Juventus, he had been talking with him via the phone, and this led to the Argentine convincing him to join him in Italy.
Paredes added that it is now up to him to ensure Di Maria stays for more years than he signed up for at Juventus.
His words, “Since I learned that Di Maria would end up at Juve, we started talking. I did everything to come,”
“I have already told [him] that he has to stay another year. And I hope to convince him.”
