Arsenal will definitely fail with any quest to sign Diego Costa on a free transfer, Williams Gallas has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Diego Costa is the kind of big character that will lift the mood of any club he joins, but he expects him to reject Arsenal because of his history with Chelsea.

Gallas added that he can also see Costa clashing with Mikel Arteta because he just won’t fit in with the mood at the London club.
His words, “Diego Costa is a big character that can be good for your squad when you need the mood to be lifted. However, I could see him clashing with Mikel Arteta. He won’t fit in with the mood at the club and I think it would go the wrong way. Even though they need a striker. Chelsea fans would also be gutted. I think he would turn down the move because of his history there and how the fans would react.”
