The DSS has re-arrested Godwin Emefiele, the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, notwithstanding an order from the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
Infostride News readers may recall that after Emefiele pled not guilty to two counts of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, the judge granted him bail.
Emefiele has been sent to prison by Justice Nicholas Oweibo’s decision until he complies with the terms of his bail.

However, there was a violent altercation going on between agents from the secret police and their counterparts from the Nigerian Correctional Services about who would remove Emefiele from the courtroom.
A few minutes ago, DSS agents successfully removed the suspended governor of the central bank from the courthouse.
