Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to demand near-perfection from his team as they push for Champions League qualification. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, if the clubs wants to play Champions League football next season, they simply have to win almost all their remaining EPL games, because some of their rivals play one game per week at the moment.
Pep added that Aston Villa, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest are all quality teams, so everyone must fight.
His words, “If you want to be in the Champions League next season and play Tuesday, Wednesday, you have to win almost all the games.
Now it’s not very complicated. We don’t have 15, 20 games, now we have seven games left. It’s a final every single game. We have to win a lot of games to qualify, because Newcastle play just one game a week, and the quality of Aston Villa, and all the teams are involved, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest.”

Pep Guardiola Sala is a Spanish professional football manager and former player who is currently managing Premier League club Manchester City. Guardiola is the only manager to win the continental treble twice, the youngest to win the UEFA Champions League, and he also holds the records for the most consecutive league games won in La Liga, the Bundesliga, and the Premier League. He is considered to be one of the greatest managers of all time.
Guardiola has played for and advocated on behalf of the Catalonia football team. Between 1995 and 2005, he played seven friendly games for Catalonia.
