Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, of attempting to create a crisis to boost his relevance before President Bola Tinubu, who is allegedly “getting fed up” with Wike’s involvement in FCT governance.
Secondus claimed that Wike is fabricating a non-existent crisis within the party. The PDP is scheduled to hold its 98th National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Thursday.
In a statement by his spokesman, Ike Abonyi, Secondus stated that Wike is trying to portray a supremacy battle with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

He accused Wike of attempting to project himself as a significant figure in the PDP to serve his interests in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Secondus urged the party’s critical structures, including the NEC, Board of Trustees (BoT), National Caucus, Governors’ Forum, state chairmen, and National Assembly caucus, to address and isolate individuals like Wike, whom he described as “mischief makers and meddlers,” in order to move the party forward.
