    Friendly Technologies TR-069 Solution Selected by Sigma Designs

    By integrating Friendly’s products into their HomePlug® platform, Sigma Designs can provide remote management in the Connected Home.

    Ramat Gan, Israel, January 06, 2014 –(PR.com)– Friendly Technologies, a leading provider of optimized device management solutions for fixed and mobile operators, announced the full integration of Friendly’s system for TR-069 with Sigma Design’s HomePlug AV(HPAV) & G.hn. Friendly Technologies will enable Sigma Designs, a world leader in connected media platforms, to offer better service by maintaining remote support for all the HomePlug or G.hn products in the home, including zero-touch provisioning, monitoring, reset capabilities and product upgrades.

    HomePlug, a powerline communication technology, allows customers to establish a cost-effective home network with high QoS using existing electrical wiring as the communication medium. Using HPAV, the Connected Home has a robust networking topology in which electrical wires can be used to distribute broadband Internet, HD video, digital music and smart energy applications.
