Goodluck Jonathan, a former president, has mourned the loss of Nestor Binabo, a former acting governor of Bayelsa State.
On Tuesday, Jonathan’s communications assistant, Ikechukwu Eze, released a statement in which Jonathan expressed his condolences to Binabo’s family and the government of Bayelsa.
He spoke highly of the late legislator, saying he was a dedicated patriot and seasoned lawmaker who had a significant impact on the state’s growth.

In response to Nestor Binabo’s passing, Jonathan remarked, “I express my deepest condolences to the Binabo family, the Government of Bayelsa State, and the people of Bayelsa State.
For his patriotism and commitment to humanity, he will be much mourned by people of all walks of life.
Jonathan hoped that God would bring solace to Binabo’s loved ones following his death from a long illness and hospitalization in Abuja.
