Popular football manager Sean Dyche has come out to say that Viktor Gyokeres is a real footballer. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he saw his strong performances when the Swede was playing in the championship, and Gyokeres has always had more to his game than just goals.
Dyche added that even though he tried to make him an Everton player at the time, his transfer fee kept rising.
Sean Dyche has revealed that Everton missed out on signing prolific Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres back when the striker was in the Championship.
His words, “The boy Gyokeres, I’ve got to be honest, I think he’s a real player. I saw him in the Championship. Then we played him in pre-season and I thought, ‘Strong, honest’. Not just the fact he was scoring goals by the way, there’s more to his game I think.”
