Williams Shakespeare instructs that if people take the right course upon such a tide, it leads to fortune and progress. To direct the Shakespearean charge towards the delegates of Ikenne State Constituency as they prepare to vote in the primary on Saturday, May 21, 2022, for the Ogun State House of Assembly candidate, Ikenne State Constituency, it suffices to say that the reasonable and wise delegates need to take the right course at this material time.
Please permit me to join other progressive voices across the five towns that make up Ikenne LG, from Ilishan to Ikenne, from Iperu to Irolu and Ogere, to declare, in this case, that for quality representation at the state assembly, Hon Dr Sulaiman Badmus Adeniye, is the RIGHT CHOICE.
Here, then, are seven specific and general reasons the respected delegates need to consider and vote massively for Sulaiman Adeniye this Saturday:
1. Adeniye has the requisite experience in governance and legislative matters. He was elected Ward 7 Councilor, 2004-2007. Subsequently, he was elected the Leader of the Legislative Council, Ikenne LG, 2004-2007. Given his meritorious service, he was appointed Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources. He was also appointed Consultant on Agriculture and Natural Resources, Ikenne LG.
2. Adeniye is the better candidate with a proven track record of delivery of dividends of democracy to the Ikenne LG electorates. His tenure as the Leader of the House led to the creation of jobs, massive infrastructural development and economic progress for the people of Ikenne LG.
3. Adeniye has a better track record of commitment to leadership directives and has been a product of a leadership institution. He has been loyal and obedient to leaders. Never for once has he disregarded leadership order.
4. Adeniye has better leadership qualities, vision and personal discipline.
5. Adeniye’s network is not limited to social events. Still, it cuts across elites, students, market men and women, teachers, professional bodies, transport industry, farmers, ethnic communities, artisans, politicians across all parties and Community Development Associations in Ikenne LG.
6. Adeniye has a progressive and superior agenda for the people of Ikenne LG. He has a clear and elaborate agenda that will make Ikenne LG envy other LGs in Ogun State. The content of the transformation agenda has been published on social media platforms regularly. It bothers education, taxation, agriculture, technology, and employment generation. He is a man of IDEAS.
7. Adeniye is a youth with robust integrity and character. He has not been found wanting in any way.
With the few above, I firmly believe the respected delegates will agree with me that Hon Dr Sulaiman Badmus Adeniye is undoubtedly the best candidate that the entire local government can be proud of.
