Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has blasted Neal Maupay for claiming his players have to learn to be humble.
Arteta simply revealed that Maupay can say anything he likes but he knows his players and he can vouch for their humility.
According to him, Leno’s injury does not look good, so he’ll leave it to the medical team to access, for a definite timeframe to be known.
He added that he is not sure if any of players will get suspended for the scuffle after the Brighton game because his players simply reacted how most teams would.
His words, “He can say whatever he wants,”
“I know my players and one aspect that they do not miss for sure is humility.”
On Leno, “Benrd’s injury doesn’t look good, we have to assess it tomorrow to know what’s happening.
“We don’t know [if it’s a cruciate injury], he is still in some pain. We will have to wait until tomorrow at least to see how bad the damage is.”
On how suspensions will affect his team, “I don’t know. I haven’t seen the actions.”
“I have seen a lot of players just talking and getting together, but I didn’t know what happened.”
“There is frustration at the end because we threw the game away. That is probably a reaction that can happen. But I always believe a player has no intention to get somebody else injured.”
