FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has said he joined the government because he had faith in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ability to fulfill his campaign promises to the Nigerian people.
On Monday, he spoke at the ceremony to launch the reconstruction of roadways in the Garki neighborhood of Abuja.
The minister added that Tinubu, who is sympathetic to the plight of Nigerians, is the real reason for the revival of optimism.

‘The FCT minister of state and I are here to assure you that Tinubu’s agenda of Renewed Hope works and to let you know that the FCT is operating,’ Wike said.
The President’s program, in other words, involves more than simply words. That’s why we’re here in the first place: to start closing off highways.
This is only the beginning. We’ll be moving on to Stage 2 in the coming weeks. The topic at hand is the infrastructure of roads. Mr. President has made several pledges. We are systematically eliminating them.
“I have told you here that if anything wasn’t going to work, I would not be a party to it. But because I know Mr. President means well for this country, he wants the best for the country, that’s why I said I would serve in his cabinet. He has shown Nigerians that he feels their pains.”
