Cristiano Ronaldo should stay quiet if he has nothing to say, Emmanuel Petit has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he has massive respect for Ronaldo‘s career and his impact on football, he really did not like his comments about the Ligue 1 and the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony in general.

Petit added that gathering the wrong kind of attention will not be a good way for Ronaldo to end his football career.
His words, “Cristiano Ronaldo had some bad criticism, saying the Saudi Arabian league is better than Ligue 1. Come on, I have a massive respect for Ronaldo’s career and his impact on football, but sometimes it’s better to stay quiet and not say anything instead of gathering that attention.
I didn’t like his comments, I didn’t like the ceremony either, it was all about singers, rappers and diamonds, you know? If I had the chance of changing the television off, I would, but I was in a studio so I couldn’t. I didn’t even know there was a ceremony like this. It was almost Real Madrid’s ceremony with the awards they won, FIFA must have loved it.”
