Chelsea defender, Ben Chilwell has come out to issue a statement to fans after suffering a hamstring injury that could potentially sideline him until 2024. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is more frustrated than the fans who are angry that he is injured again, and it currently feels like he cannot catch a break from bad luck.
Chilwell added that he would try to help the team as best as he can from the sidelines.
His words, “Can’t catch a break. Believe me, I am more frustrated than you guys,”
“All I can do now is help the team as best as I can from the sidelines until I can get back to giving everything for the club on the pitch again. Ups and downs but that’s life. Just focused on getting this club back where it deserves to be. Thank you as always for the love, Chelsea fans.”
